Improving Access to Mental Healthcare
In response to community need, we are expanding our mental health services. This
includes hospital and emergency room psychiatric consults, an expanded program at
Pathways Alcohol & Drug Treatment Center to treat patients with both substance use and
mental health issues, and an outpatient physician practice. We’re also partnering with
other community providers through the Healthy Anne Arundel Coalition.

Convenient Care: FastCare Walk-in Clinic Opens
AAMC FastCare, a convenient care clinic, recently opened in the Giant food
store at the Free State Mall in Bowie. The clinic is one of several slated to
open in area grocery stores around the region over the next two years.
The clinics provide convenient hours, walk-in availability and lower
cost. If you use MyChart, AAMC’s electronic medical record, any visit to
FastCare will be documented and the information shared with your doctor.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 8:30pm,
Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm, Sunday 9:30am to 4:30pm, and holidays
10am to 2pm.
