AAMC Foundation: Making an Impact
Just as Anne Arundel Medical Center serves the community
in many different ways, there are various ways for community
members to give back to AAMC.
Our Charitable Gift Planning Advisory Committee is a stellar
example. Members provide us with sound advice, compelling
advocacy and personal philanthropy. Made up of 26 community
members with expertise in legal, financial, banking, real estate,
and tax professions, the group meets four times a year and helps
sustain and grow AAMC Foundation’s planned giving program.
Each member brings special talents and experience and volunteers
to speak at complimentary estate and legacy planning workshops
hosted for community members.
“The Charitable Gift Planning Advisory Committee has been
intricately involved in advising our Foundation on some of the
largest gifts to Anne Arundel Medical Center,” says Jan W. Wood,
Foundation president. “They have enabled us to help donors
discover ways to support AAMC while also meeting the future
needs of themselves and their loved ones. We are very grateful for
their service.”
Annapolis estate planning attorney Frank Campbell serves
as chair of the committee. Other members include James E.
Brennan, CFP; Bruce C. Burns; Lynn Cohen; Linda T. Cox, JD;
Kimberly Corbin Aviles, JD; Danielle M. Cruttenden, JD;
Walter S.B. Childs, JD; Lynn Dulin, CCIM; Stephen R.

The Charitable Gift Planning Advisory Committee is a crucial
partnership for AAMC’s Planned Giving Program, which has
seen unprecedented growth in the past few years thanks to the
generosity of individuals in our community and the dedication of
this committee. AAMC is grateful to be included in the legacy of
those who make planned gifts to support the organization and the
legacy of those who give their time and talents to sustain it.
