Having surgery at AAMC? You can rest assured that Salena Dixon’s got your back. As a
leader for our da Vinci Surgical System robotic surgery team, she says: “I do what it takes
to make the program successful. I see the patient throughout the entire process, from
the time surgery is scheduled to recovery. I’m in the OR checking the equipment, and
I’m constantly seeking out new information so our patients have the best outcomes.”
A mother of two, Dixon commutes an hour and 15 minutes to AAMC each day
from East New Market. Is it worth it?
